Vanuatu Strategic Tourism Implementation

Assisting the Government of Vanuatu, on behalf of the NZ Government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) to create a practical tourism development action plan for this island nation.  

The plan clearly outlines Vanuatu's priorities for developing tourism and includes costs, priorities and potential funding and sources.  The Vanuatu strategic tourism action plan 2014-2018 has proved invaluable and been instrumental in helping international donors assist with tourism development following the devastation of Cyclone Pam in 2015. 

Dave Bamford has had 30 years of successfully developing, managing and leading teams of various sizes.  These include professional, inter-disciplinary planning teams such as the NZAID (NZODA) Fiji Ecotourism Project, aid programmes in Tonga, Samoa, Lake Khanas (China), Mongolia, Viet Nam and Chile as well as projects in Malaysia and New Zealand.
